Adventure Tourism in the Paraná Delta—Tigre

Located at the confluence of the Paraná and Uruguay rivers in the Río de la Plata -one of the largest watersheds in the world- an extensive Delta comprised of hundreds of uninhabited islands conserving abundant vegetation and wildlife in a completely natural environment, all just 50 minutes from downtown Buenos Aires.

We invite you to explore this unique area in a inflatable motor boat, traversing the fast-running Paraná river past antique island constructions to arrive at the quaint, peaceful home of an authentic islander, where an excellent asado—Argentine BBQ—and fine wine await. An unforgettable daylong excursion, or for those who appreciate a campfire under the stars and the song of the crickets on a quiet night, the possibility of extending your stay overnight also exists. On the way back, we’ll visit the famous Mercado de Frutos in Tigre, one of Buenos Aires’ premier outdoor markets, famous for its wooden and wicker handicrafts.

At 9:30 am we’ll fetch you from your hotel, and an hour later, we’ll begin our excursion, which includes transportation, the boat ride, the asado and wine, a bilingual guide and fishing rods for those who would like, costing merely US$25 per person for four people, US$30 for three and US$40 for two.

  • Ask also for 2 rooms furnished apartment in downtown for US$ 25 daily, for a city tour or a car to or from Ezeiza.
